MODEL 1B18H (HYDRAULIC) BRUSH SKIMMERS

LAYNE Commercial Services Inc, line of brush skimmers are designed for both portability and extreme durability on the toughest jobs. Various length «brush» drums are capable of recovering hydrocarbons at rates of up to 30 cubic meters per hour. These easily deployable units are ideal for inland and offshore spills and can deal with the tough viscous/weathered crudes.

Components of the BRUSH SKIMMER SYSTEMS are detailed as follows:

• The BRUSH SKIMMER FLOTATION UNIT is constructed of lightweight aluminum. Lifting handles and boom connector attachment points are provided. This hydraulically driven skimmer offers portability to spill sites that may be difficult to reach. Models with single or double drums are available
• The DIESEL HYDRAULIC POWER PACK offers dual circuits for powering both the brush skimmer and the oil transfer pump. Independent flow controls allow for separate speed adjustment of brush rotation and pumping speeds.
• The TRANSFER PUMPS are sized proportionately to skimmer capabilities. Various models are available with hydraulic, diesel or pneumatic drives. Standard transfer pumps include a peristaltic hose pump and the Selwood Spate 75C double diaphragm pump.
• Hydraulic unit-one set Hydraulic and Pump Discharge Hoses (40′ lengths). Pneumatic unit-one set Pneumatic Hoses and Pump Suction and Oil Discharge Hoses (40′ lengths).
